Group Description
Our Intellectual Property practice group concentrates on all aspects of intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and right of publicity) and its exploitation, including computer law, entertainment and media law, and licensing. We represent individual inventors, large corporations, advertising agencies, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, and many others in intellectual property matters, including transactional matters and infringement (including anti-counterfeiting) litigation. Our firm has the most experience in intellectual property litigation in the State. We also obtain and license intellectual property rights in the United States and (through an extensive network of foreign correspondents) foreign countries. For cost efficiency, we also use paralegal personnel for certain routine aspects of trademark and patent filing and prosecution.

Because of our unique time zone, we have been able in some cases to save U.S. and international patent and trademark filing dates for Asian and mainland companies, even after those deadlines had passed in their own time zones.
