April J. Cadiz is an associate in the Finance and Real Estate Department of Cades Schutte. She joined the firm in January 2007. Ms. Cadiz graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 1998 with a B.A. in Government and International Relations, a minor in the Japanese language and Certificate in Asian studies.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Cadiz worked as a corporate paralegal in New York City in the Manhattan office of Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts, now Pillsbury Winthrop. She also worked as a corporate paralegal in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP while in law school.
Ms. Cadiz received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, in 2003. While at Hastings, she received the C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Award and Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Law and Economics.
Ms. Cadiz is a member of the State Bar of California, the Hawaii State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Planning Association.
