Teri-Ann E.S. Nagata is an associate in the Litigation Department of Cades Schutte.

Ms. Nagata received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Highest Honors, summa cum laude, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2000, and received her law degree from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 2003. While at Harvard Law School, Ms. Nagata served as a Primary Editor of The Harvard Law Review and published Recent Case, Bowen v. Amoco Pipeline Co., 115 HARV. L. REV. 1267 (2002), and Note, Examining Senate Procedure Through Narrative, 116 HARV. L. REV. 1499 (2003).

After graduating from law school, Ms. Nagata served as a law clerk to the Honorable William G. Young of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She then joined the law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles, California, where she practiced as a litigation associate before returning to Hawaii to join Cades Schutte.

Ms. Nagata is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, State Bar of California, and American Bar Association.
