Ms. Arakaki is an associate in the Tax Department of Cades Schutte. Ms. Arakaki received her law degree, summa cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law in May 2004. Upon graduating, she received the Carl K. Mirikitani, Jr. Valedictory Prize and the Michael P. Porter Dean's Scholastic Award - Third Year. Ms. Arakaki received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Accounting), with honors, from the University of Hawaii in 1991. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Arakaki held various positions in the accounting field, including a position with Nishihama & Kishida, CPA's, Inc., as an audit supervisor. Ms. Arakaki is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is admitted to practice before all Hawaii courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
