Catherine M. Fujisaki is an associate in the Trusts and Estates Department of Cades Schutte. She joined the firm in 2008 after clerking for the Honorable Colleen K. Hirai, Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court. Ms. Fujisaki graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Accounting and the University of California, Los Angeles with an M.B.A. emphasizing finance. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law. As a law student, Ms. Fujisaki won the Lawrence H. Kono Memorial Award for Federal Income Tax and the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Federal Income Taxation and Corporate and Partnership Tax. Ms. Fujisaki is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and licensed Real Estate Broker (R). Prior to her legal career, Ms. Fujisaki worked as a corporate controller, an investment manager and a real estate broker. Ms. Fujisaki is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all Hawaii courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
