Essentials of Human Resource Management Course by Paul Saito
Cades partner Paul M. Saito to teach the first seminar of the Essentials of Human Resource Management course this Saturday, June 20, 2015. The course is offered by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as part of the University of Hawai`i’s Outreach College, the Institute for Business & Professional Development.
This course is for junior-level human resource (HR) professionals, and supervisors and line managers who have HR responsibilities. It is also appropriate for HR professionals whose experience has been in a single functional area, for persons exploring HR as a career, and for business managers with employees but not an HR department. Six topic areas are covered, including an introduction to human resource management, followed by modules on employment law, recruitment and selection, compensation, employee development, and performance management.
