Amanda Jones to Speak at Hawai`i Business Magazine’s 2016 Leadership Conference

Cades partner Amanda M. Jones joins a panel of Hawai`i’s business leaders speaking on “Embracing Conflict” at this year’s 2016 Leadership Conference.  Along with Russell Hata of Y.Hata & Co. Ltd., Kawika Riley of the Office of Hawai`ian Affairs, and Sunshine Topping of Hawai`ian Telcom, Ms. Jones will speak on managing conflict with diplomacy and credibility, as well as explore strategies to diffuse difficult situations and how to have tough conversations.

The purpose of the conference is to develop and cultivate Hawai`i’s emerging leaders by providing a platform for them to develop their skills through a series of workshops and networking opportunities.

Amanda M. Jones is a litigation partner, concentrating her practice on civil trial and appellate cases, administrative proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, and compliance and risk management counseling.  A substantial portion of her practice is devoted to representing employers in administrative proceedings and litigation and advising management on employment matters.  She also advises educational institutions and represents parties in commercial and real estate disputes.
