Cades Helps Ready Kahauiki Village

Cades Schutte Volunteers In Front Of Home At Kahauiki Village

Last Saturday, 11 Cades attorneys joined Kahauiki Village Volunteer Day to help ready housing units for future tenants of the plantation community. Kahauiki Village, headed by Duane Kurisu and aio’s project team, is a community of approximately 153 one and two bedroom homes that will provide long term, permanent, affordable housing for currently homeless families with children on Oahu. Cades Schutte and over 70 public and private entities have come together and volunteered resources to make this unique public/private partnership a reality. In addition to affordable housing, Kahauiki Village will also provide essential services to its tenants like child care, skills training and jobs.
