Congratulations to Cades Schutte Partner Jarrett A. Dempsey, who was selected as part of Pacific Business News’ 40 Under 40 Class of 2025. The annual 40 Under 40 recognizes young leaders from throughout the state for achievements in their professional lives, as well as in the community.
Jarrett focuses his practice on medical malpractice litigation, professional liability, and health law. He has represented health care providers and other professionals in tort claims, contract disputes, premises liability claims, and insurance reimbursement proceedings and has advised clients regarding compliance with health law regulations.
In addition to assisting clients in the health care space, Jarrett has mentored young attorneys as a member of the Cades Schutte attorney development training committee and served as the O‘ahu director of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division from 2022 to 2024. His work with the bar association led to initiatives to help victims of the 2023 wildfires on Maui, including a hotline meant to help survivors of the fires with legal questions and a volunteer program that connected lawyers to survivors.
