Cades Schutte Partner Nathan C. Yang Completes Inaugural Year of Onward Hawaii Fellows Program

News Yang Nate

Cades Schutte is pleased to congratulate Partner Nathan C. Yang on his successful completion of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Young Professionals Onward Hawaii Fellows Program. Nate was a member of the program’s inaugural class and spent the past ten months fully immersed in this distinguished leadership experience.

The Onward Hawaii Fellows Program is the premier fellowship of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s Young Professionals Program. It provides participants with unparalleled access to leading businesses, government agencies, and organizations across the state, while creating meaningful opportunities to collaborate with influential leaders in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. These interactions are designed to foster innovation and drive impactful change within Hawaii’s community and economy.

Over the course of the ten-month program, eight senior-level young professionals engage in a highly interactive and intimate learning environment. Fellows gain valuable insights not only from established leaders in government, business, and nonprofit organizations, but also from one another, helping to cultivate the next generation of changemakers in Hawaii.

Each month, the Fellows explore key economic topics highlighted in the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s 2030 Blueprint. As part of this experience, they visit corporate headquarters, production facilities, and government offices throughout the state, gaining firsthand exposure to Hawaii’s economic landscape. They also participate in in-depth discussions with state leaders and take part in curated one-on-one meetings with industry experts, further enhancing their understanding of critical issues and opportunities.

In addition to these structured experiences, the program emphasizes relationship-building and professional growth. Fellows develop lasting connections while expanding their knowledge and professional networks within Hawaii’s business community. Congratulations, Nate, on this well-deserved honor.
