Allison Mizuo Lee Selected as 2021 Pacific Business News Women Who Mean Business Honoree

News Mizuo Lee Allison

Cades Schutte is proud to announce that Allison Mizuo Lee, an attorney in the Litigation Department and founding resident partner of the firm’s Līhuʻe office, has been selected as an honoree for Pacific Business News’  23rd annual Women Who Mean Business (WWMB) awards.

The WWMB awards celebrate the voices, accomplishments, and impact of some of the most successful businesswomen in Hawai‘i. This year, Allison was a part of 40 honorees representing various industries, including health care, insurance, education, and real estate, among others.

“We are extremely pleased to see Allison recognized as one of Pacific Business News’ Women Who Mean Business this year,” said Amanda M. Jones, member of Cades Schutte’s Management Committee. “I have worked with Allison for many years and seen her successes as an attorney firsthand. I believe she truly exemplifies the qualities and accomplishments that any businesswoman in Hawai‘i should strive to achieve.”

Allison’s legal career spans across 20 years, and she has successfully resolved numerous matters, primarily in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, lender liability defense, and foreclosure, while also serving as a mentor to more junior attorneys. Although she started practicing in Cades Schutte’s Honolulu office in 2002, in 2016 she moved back to Kaua‘i, where she was born and raised, to set-up the firm’s Līhuʻe office. The office and firm’s practice on Kaua‘i have continued to grow under Allison’s leadership.

Outside of her legal practice, Allison also dedicates her time to giving back to the community. At her direction, the firm has supported many Kaua‘i-based non-profit organizations. Allison has served as secretary and as vice-president of the Kaua‘i Bar Association, and is the organization’s current president.
