Wil’s practice focuses on corporate law, including the formation and management of business entities, mergers and acquisitions, and general business consulting. He represents clients in a wide array of industries including the hospitality, retail, medical, and venture capital fields.

He draws on his unique background in pharmaceutical research to provide industry-specific legal advice to clients. Wil’s previous experience included development of screening methodologies for potential therapeutics, biomaterials engineering, machine learning assisted analysis, and stem cell tissue engineering.

Wil earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University. During law school, Wil served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Associate Justice Sabrina S. McKenna in the Hawai‘i Supreme Court. He also earned the CALI award for the highest grades in Civil Procedure I, Civil Procedure II, Lawyering Fundamentals I, Legal Research, and Land Use Management and Control.

Wil was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Punahou School.

  • Representing foreign based buyers in the acquisition of Hawaii businesses.
  • Consulting on business issues for doctors and other medical professionals forming clinics and practices.
  • Purchase, sale, financing, and permitting of United States Coast Guard registered vessels.
