As an associate in the Finance and Real Estate team, Ellen’s practice includes real estate development and land use review, commercial ground and space leasing, purchase and sale transactions, and financing.
Ellen earned her law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i, summa cum laude. During law school, Ellen served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Mark E. Recktenwald, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i, and provided research assistance to Professor David L. Callies and Professor Mari J. Matsuda. She also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the University of Hawai‘i Law Review.
Ellen earned her undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University where she double-majored in Philosophy and Writing Seminars. Ellen was also a member of the Humanities Center Honors Program.
Ellen is a fifth-generation attorney in Hawai‘i and graduate of Punahou School.
